The Ultimate Tool For Customising Your Websites…

There’s this amazing tool on the market at the moment, it’s been around for a little while and if you are serious about running an online business, with an amazing website and professional landing pages and sales pages, then your life is about to get A LOT easier!

Are you one of those people who doesn’t understand website coding, and doesn’t want to pay a web developer thousands to make a customised website, but you’ve been looking for ages about how to fully customise a WordPress site at low cost?

If that’s you, then this piece of software is a LIFE SAVER because it allows you to completely customise your WordPress website without any complicated coding or writing scripts.

It is quite a large programme to get your head around, so you’ve got to be wiling to put in the work to learn how to use it and be able to get the best out of it. I can tell you from experience though, learning how to use it is extremely easy, if you understand English, can click a mouse button, and drag and drop, you’ll be absolutely fine! You do need to invest a bit of time learning how to use it (anything from half a day to a day or two, depending on how quickly you learn and pick things up), and you’ll have your website built and landing pages up and running in no time!

So what is it that I am talking about?

I’m talking about Optimize Press!

You may or may Optimize Press Logonot have heard of it before, so I’ll briefly explain what it is, and the fundamentals of what it does.

Optimize Press is an installation inside WordPress, either as a theme so you can completely rebuild your website; or as a plugin so that you can enhance your existing website.

It allows you to completely customise every page of your website to exactly how YOU want it, without having to spend hours on the phone to a designer making tiny changes, and without having to spend a fortune either.

You can add anything you like, from text areas to social media integrations, from optin forms to big colourful buttons, and everything in between! There’s literally isn’t anything that they’ve forgotten!

We use it here on our website at The Internet Marketing Place, and I’ll tell you something, it’s saved us thousands in web designer fees, and many hours of painless miniscule changes to web designs.

So how does it do all this? And so easily?

Now you’ve got an idea about what Optimize Press does and what it’s about, I’d like to take you inside and show you how it works…

In the next part of this post, I’ll show you how easy Optimize Press is, through a series of explanations and screenshots about how it works, so you can get a real feel for what it’s really like to use the programme, and see for yourself how easy it is!

IMPORTANT NOTE! I am using the theme version of Optimize Press. My personal experience is this: I tried using the plugin version so that I wouldn’t have to completely rebuild my website, because I just wanted to add a few landing pages. I was having problems making all of the functions work (I am no tech whizz!), so I decided to switch to the theme version to see if it worked better. I knew it would mean I would have to rebuild the website, however it only ended up taking a few days of hard work to completely rebuild the website anyway!

So our recommendation is to use the theme, you may have other experiences whilst using Optimize Press though, and we can’t guarantee any result that you may have.

So let’s get right inside Optimize Press now!

The main part of building a page on Optimize Press, is the Live Editor.

This is where you edit your pages to how you want, and can completely customize the look. (see screenshot below for an overview look of what the Live Editor looks like).

Live Editor example

The way that you completely customize the webpage is to insert “rows”, and then insert “elements” within these rows.

So let me explain the fundamentals of rows and elements individually in more depth.

The rows go right across the width of the web page, and you can choose to have different numbers and sizes of columns within rows (these determine the layout of the content within the page).

Then you insert various elements into the columns within the row (this is the content part of the web page).

So an example of an element might be a navigation menu, a button, a picture, recent blog posts, recent news, social media integration/follow buttons, the list goes on and on!

So now I’ll show you visually…

The screenshot below shows you the row (the bit inside the red square).

When you click on “Add New Row” (at the top of the row – see the screenshot above), you will see the box below come up (see screenshot below), which allows you to choose what layout you would like for your row.

Add new row options

Once you’ve done these 2 steps, you are ready to add the elements you want to your row!

You will see multiple different “Add Element” buttons across the row. The number of “Add Element” buttons depend upon how many columns you have in your row, and they allow you to add elements to each column in your row.

When you click one of these buttons, a list will appear of all the different elements you can add to the row.

Then it really is as simple as selecting which element you want to add to the row, customising the look and design of the element, and then clicking insert! Check out the screenshot below where I created a simple optin box with an arrow and a call to action. The optin box, arrows and text are all seperate elements, and I have chosen to use a single column row style. And the best thing is, that this only took me about 10 minutes to do!

Example of a completed Row

You can also move the elements around the page (across different columns and rows) by literally clicking, dragging and dropping the relevant element you want to move to a new place on the page! You just click on the “move” button on the element and drag it to where you want it to be! It’s that simple! (see the move button highlighted on the screenshot below).

You can also do exactly the same with rows, just drag and drop them to where you want them to be if you want to change the order that they appear on the page!

And that is pretty much all of the basics! Building a website with Optimize Press is literally that easy, it took a while to sink in for me to be honest…that it really was that easy… because it’s always been so much more difficult to get that amount of customised design on a website before without spending thousands.

And that is only the beginning…

What I’ve shown you today really is only the beginning of Optimize Press. If you run a blog, it’s also very easy to completely customize the blog section of your website too. It even integrates with other plugins as well, such as social sharing plugin “Add This”, and many others too.

Optimize Press even provide you with many templates for you to use – completely free of charge! So that you can save even more time when you start building your websites and landing pages by using their templates.
